Project Profile

Cripps Health Centre is the largest single practice health centre in the country, providing health services to the University of Nottingham and the surrounding areas. Philanthropically funded, the health centre stands proudly on top of Cripps Hill within the picturesque campus of the university. The building was awarded the Best Inclusive Building at the LABC East Midlands Building Excellence Awards in 2019. We are proud to have designed and installed the mechanical and electrical services for this prestigious building.

Project Experience

The project incorporated a diverse range of MEP services. A ground source heat pump serves low temperature hot water to the underfloor heating installation. Mechanical ventilation is provided through heat recovery air handling systems with VRF heating and cooling. The electrical installation comprises an expensive photovoltaic solar panel array, high grade communication and IT systems including fibre, specialist medical lighting, dental suit fit outs, general lighting and power as well as feature lighting.
